Hardwood PAR, Poplar / Tuilip Wood 25 x 50mm

Poplar is light in colour, usually yellow and white. It can have some green and grey tones throughout.
It has Considerable rot and insect-resistance qualities, it is Light in weight yet quite strong and durable. The grain is fairly straight with a fine texture that can stain or paint easily.
Not prone to warping or much shrinkage when used internally, making it an ideal choice for a variety of uses.
Often used for door frames, skirting, architrave and decorative mouldings, furniture and frame making.

Planed timber sizes are nominal and have smaller finished sizes, generally between 2-5mm. Timber size will also vary with moisture content - Wood naturally expands and contracts with moisture content so some changes in size should be expected.
