European Oak is a popular Hardwood, it has a Medium to coarse texture. It can be used internally and externally. Light in colour with a fairly staight grain with more figure in it in comparison to the American.
Often used for Cladding, Decking, Flooring, Furniture making, structural use, Joinery internally and externally and Sleepers.

Planed timber sizes are nominal and have smaller finished sizes, generally between 2-5mm. Timber size will also vary with moisture content - Wood naturally expands and contracts with moisture content so some changes in size should be expected.
